Error while sending a video URL to Buffer

Dear Zapier Community, I have trouble sending a video URL from my Google Sheets document to Buffer. In the image you can see the error I am getting: “The Buffer step hit an error. Process exited before completing request”. Zapier is reading the data correctly but Buffer keeps causing troubles when trying to complete my request. I also tried using the AI tool to guide me with finding the issue, but I can not do anything with the suggestions it gave me. Could someone help me out? Base64 decoded message gets split by characters

Hi everyone, I'm building an action step to pull email bodies from a Gmail thread (the normal ‘find email’ action step finds an individual message, where I want every message in a given thread, and there’s no ‘find thread’ action step, so I’m making it). It's mostly working, but I'm running into a weird formatting issue when I try to handle the response. I’m getting the message body in Base64, and when I decode it to a utf-8 string, it works, in that I get the messages, but they’re split by character. I’ve tried a few things to recombine the result, but it’s not working, and I don’t really know what I’m doing (I’m doing the code with ChatGPT. Sorry in advance for the ignorance I’m no doubt showing here). Sending all Google Sheets data to an API without mapping keys in Zapier

I have connected my google sheets to zapier, fetched the last row data , now i want to post that data directly without mapping it to any key , all data directly sent to an API , how can i do? , I tried by using {{bundle.inputData}} , still i am not getting any data. can you guys help me? I have not used any input designer in my action , because i just want all the data , i dont want to extract it by mapping. and i am unable to get any data now,

Understanding the Item Format input for Get List Values in Zapier

I am trying to create a zap that adds a line item Id to a list but before I add it to the list, I am attempting to get the list of IDs and us the values in it to compare against the current ID in a filter to have the list only be unique line item ids. I have tried the get value and get multiple value action events but that only returns something like this when I try {{279842187__value__list}} not the actual values found. So that fails to filter anything. I believe the Get List Values action event may be a solution but there is a field called Item Format that has no clear instructions anywhere on what should be entered. Whatever I put in that field is the output when I test the step. Does anyone have any insight into what this input may be looking for?

How to enable Paypal payment option in Quickbooks Online invoices via Zapier integration?

Hi, in my “Create Invoice” action, I have the settings to “Accept Payment Via Bank Transfer” and “Via Credit Card”, but not via Paypal. However, if I open up the generated invoice in QBO, I have the ability to toggle Paypal on for this invoice. I would like the ability to configure it via the Zapier integration as well. Trouble with Mattermost integration causing accounts to show expired

Hi, I have a Zap that posts to my self-hosted Mattermost 10.2.1 server. The Zap currently throws an error, likely due to a downrev version of the Mattermost integration in Zapier (1.9.0) however, when I attempt to upgrade the Mattermost integration in my Zap, any credentials I select immediately transition to “Expired” and Zapier requests I reconnect them. The “reconnection” does not visibly fail, but after reconnection, the accounts are immediately marked as expired. I have recreated the OAuth app in Mattermost, I know nothing is expired from my side, the oauth workflow succeeds, but I can’t seem to get a working Mattermost integration again. What am I missing? Is the integration simply broken with current versions of Mattermost?

Slack messages into Outlook email

Hi! I am having a problem automating a Zap where it takes messages from a slack channel (weekly department updates) and sends them off to all the email addresses. I want it to be scheduled once a week, the messages as updates will be up there by that time. After creating Schedule as trigger I am kind of struggling. I do not understand which kind of action event i should choose or which should be the next steps.

I am want connection API but no find in Zabire

When I tried to start working on sending the API via the Triggres option and then entering the actions, the site asks to find the application that I want to integrate with, which is Visanet, and I did not find the Visanet option. So, if I want to integrate Visanet automation and it is not available in the Actions option, what should I do then??

Avoid Removing Sample Data

HI! I’m in a trouble on an action validation warning. It say: “ Try To Avoid Removing Sample Data During promotion, we compare features of your currently public version with your soon-to-be-public version. When you change/remove the email property of an item in your sample, Zap Templates that use that field become invalid. The manual run in Zap has been removed. Is there any way to bring that back?

I have confirmed from a Zap Chat responder that the latest “enhancements” removed the ability for one to manually run a Zap. I am pleading development to bring this feature back. As far as I’m concerned this is a basic necessity when it comes to Zap management. There are many times that I simply don’t have time to wait for the Zap to cycle around and pickup that it needs to execute on new data it is monitoring. Before I was able to right-click, menu select “Run Zap” and BINGO it ran the Zap real-time, grabbed any that were in the queue to run the next iteration and I was on my way. Now I have no choice but to wait anywhere from a few seconds to up to 15 minutes depending on where it is in the cycle. I can’t believe nobody else has an issue with this. If you feel the same, please reply so that Zapier sees how important this ability is. Thanks!

Updating API Endpoints in Published Zapier App

I'm developing a custom Zapier app (MOCONO) for a client and currently use the staging server's API for development and testing. My plan is to publish the app using these staging APIs. My question concerns updating the API endpoints after the app's public release. Specifically, I want to know if it's possible to change the API URLs used for authentication and triggers to point to the live server once the app is published. This would essentially involve updating the IP address in the API endpoints. If such a post-publication update is feasible, I can proceed with developing the app using the staging server's API. However, if updating endpoints isn't possible after publishing, I would need to build the app using the live server's API from the start. Please advise on the best approach for this scenario.

Using Variables in Firebase Paths for Reading and Writing Data

Hello everybody, I’m working on the automation of irrigation systems. I have multiple plants in different locations that I’m managing with local micro-controllers (ESP32). The ESP is logging information and receiving commands to/from a Firebase Realtime DB. Each ESP has is own tree: ESP/ESPx/Irrigation with field Status and value ON/OFF. I would like to manage via Zapier the schedule of irrigations either on set times (for example at 10 AM, 1PM etc) or on trigger (for example when the temperature is increasing over a certain threshold). The rules are the same for most of the ESP. Right now I managed to do that by creating a Zap for each ESP, even if they are all exactly the same except that they’re pointing to a different path. Example: Zap 1 points to path ESP/ESP1/Irrigation Zap 2 points to path ESP/ESP2/Irrigation … I would like to variabilize the path so I can have only one Zap executing multiple times for each path. Update Google spreadsheet dropdown

In my Google spreadsheet, I have two sheets, Sheet1 and Sheet2. In the Sheet2, the first cell (row 1, column 1) has a Dropdown control with Data Validation rule to show all unique values from a specific column in Sheet 1 Requirement: I want the Zapier to change the value of the dropdown in the first cell of Sheet 2. I used the example from https://help.zapier.com/hc/en-us/articles/8495978803213-Find-and-update-spreadsheet-rows-in-Google-Sheets-on-Zapier However, the ‘Action’ step does omits row 1 and only lists the rows from row 2. How can I change the value of the dropdown using Zapier Action? For example, set the value of Sheet2!A1=”KIWI”?

Zapier Tables are not shown when creating an Action

I have three different Tables in Zapier Tables. Now I want to create a new action (under action.zapier.com for my custom GPT) and when I configure “Zapier Tables: Create Record”, I want to choose a fixed value which is in this case the name of the table. But it only shows me one table name. This is the table name Im using in another action, but not the one I want to use for this action, The two missing tables are set to automatically send records and of course, we create by me. What could be reason these table names are not showing up? Thank you in advance 😀

Encoding URL String

I’m using Zapier in a trial at the moment to figure out whether I can use it to integrate Hubspot and Sharepoint. So far so good, but I have a situation where I need to write a Sharepoint path (URL) back to a Hubspot property, and I need to URLEncode it so it works as a link. Currently, Hubspot doesn’t recognize it as a link because it has spaces in it. Does Zapier have any functions to URL encode a string, or even do a find/replace on certain characters in a string? Thanks!

How to handle multiple HTTP requests to callback URL

We’re using `z.generateCallbackUrl()` which works great in most cases.By default, the callback URL is called only once to notify our resource is ready. The problem is that our users can enable a feature, and it will send two HTTP requests to the callback URL, because two different resources are created that take a long time. (Yes, this is poor API design, but that’s not possible to change) For our action, I’m only interested in one of the HTTP requests, but I’m receiving the wrong HTTP request which doesn’t have the correct information to return to our users. Our ideal solution would be that `performResume` can be triggered multiple times, and we can tell Zapier to wait for the other HTTP request, and ignore the current one. How to make a Find-or-Create action that is useful in practice?

In my integration I’ve put a Find event, and a Create event, and linked them together to support Find-Or-Create. But I’m struggling to see how to make that useful in practice, because of how it uses the same parameter data for both the Find and the Create. I’m finding that I always want to use different parameters for the Find and Create. Perhaps this is because the structure or behavior of my API is not as it ought to be. I’d love to hear if any other devs have thoughts on this. Simplified example: My APIs are working with records that have a Reference and a Name. The Reference is an immutable unique key, and the Name is a mutable data field. However, the Name is mandatory - I can’t create a record without one, and my Create API will return an error if this is attempted. A typical use case would be to have a Zap that pulls these records from some other system, matching against my API by Reference, and telling my API to create or update the Name as appropriate. Unable to get files in zap trigger test

I have created an integration to move files from my application to any other cloud service application supported by zapier. It is working with sample urls but not working with actual files.Test trigger step doesn’t show up any data when a file is sent in the request.
