invalid email treated as data only

Hi,I am having fun linking ECWID to VCITA and I got it working fine, then it stopped working and been trying to fix it since. I believe there's an issue between ECWID & VCITA regarding Zapier but the latest i am getting is an invalid email, when the email is valid, I also don’t want Zapier to police the email addresses being inputted by clients, so how can you just treat it as a data field only?

401 error at the ‘POST in Webhooks by Zapier’

I am trying to automate workflow from Formaloo form to Clio Grow account by using Zapier webhooks.The trigger from Formaloo side works fine, but I received 401 error at the ‘POST in Webhooks by Zapier’ as the app returned "Unauthorized"I followed the instruction from this article: https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/how-integrate-3rd-party-software-clio-grow-using-webhooks-ian-almasi/Does anyone know why the error occured? Here are the setting:

skipThrowForStatus: true throws anyway (z.request)

Hey, I want to create an Action in which at least 1 out of 2 (either one or both) fields should be required. How do I set it up? WIX to CIN7 Sale through Zapier

We have a WIX website, and am trying to use Zapier, so when an order is received in WIX, it creates the customer in CIN7, and then creates the order. It is giving me an error on the Total value/price . See attached. Has anyone encountered this and maybe has a solution? ThanksSam

Show custom error message in case of 400 error code

Hello,I'm trying to display a custom error message to the user when a service call returns a 400 error.Indeed, our services return a 400 error code with a specific message.Example:{"errors":{"":["There should have only one occurrence of each language: fr 2 occurrences","There should have only one default language in Contents"]},"type":"https:/ /tools.ietf.org/html/rfc7231#section-6.5.1","title":"One or more validation errors occurred.","status":400,"traceId":"00-367e5cbb1a26ddb093fc31b10d23115c-53881c67df805217-00 "} In case of error, the user sees only the title content. (only Admin can see the entire content result on the monitoring interface)How can i do to show him the errors content? Thanks a lot for your answer.

Invalid credentials expected behaviour

Hello, Sorry if this is a noob question. I am trying to authenticate using Session Auth, and I am testing different scenarios. What is the expected behaviour when the user enters an incorrect password?  I got this output from a mock endpoint that returns 401. Is this what the end user will see?    Thanks, Ian

Handle 403 Error as 401 (auto refresh acess token) [Oauth 2 , Platform UI ]

Im doing a GoToWebinar integration to get some data that´s not included in the native app and i need.My auth is working for the first token but is not refreshing so i get promted to re-auth after 60 mins and my zaps get turned off, i noticed im getting a “403” error instead of a “401” so i guess i need to handle it manually??Q: does anybody has some snippet/example to handle a 403 error as 401 in zapier´s platform UI ?**The objective is to trigger the Refresh Token request  when i get a 403 error (instead of a 401)

My zap was working earlier, suddenly it stopped working. Basic Authentication issue

I am using Basic Authentication for my app. And I need to display login errors if they provide wrong credentials.. So how can i achieve this? Now what is happening, simply the login window gets disappeared after submit.Thank you

How should data validation errors be returned?

Within my API, validation errors are returned with a HTTP error 400 and a message.When I test the API as an action in Zapier and hit a validation error, zapier flags the zap as failed, emails me to tell me there is an issue but all I get is the first word of the error message as Zapier truncates the messageWhat happened (You are seeing this because you are an admin):Stack trace: ResponseError: {"status":400,"headers":{"content-type":"application/json"},"content":"{\"success\":false,\"message\":\"AnHow should I be returning validation errors from my API so that Zapier will handle them in a more friendly error. I can’t see any documentation that covers this.

Adding After afterResponse error handing breaks authentication

I’ve added the following error handling to the middleware using the ‘afterResponse’ property. This seemed to work for the validation of the action responses but it breaks the authentication which dies with the error below. If I take the ‘afterResponse’ property out authentication works. Hi, I have a Zap step that has an Error Handler. When the error path is taken I take an action to send out an email notification. I’d like to include the error that was caught in the stopped step in my email notification. Is this possible? Thanks,Neil

How to surface error thrown in performSubscribe ?

While implementing performSubscribe, I encountered an issue. My function executes a GraphQL endpoint to create a webhook. Error handling has been added to raise any failures as proper errors.The problem is that, despite seeing the Zaps correctly in the "OFF" state and receiving a Zapier notification email about the failure, I want to surface this error immediately to the user after they toggle the action from OFF to ON. Ideally, this would be a visual notification on the same screen, rather than relying on the email (which they might miss).I searched for similar issues but haven't found a solution yet.

How to process Action errors in a meaningful way

What is the proper way of handling or processing errors when defining an Action for an integration. Right now if the Action web-service call fails during Zap setup/creation there is only a cryptic message with an HTTP status code displayed. The nicely worded error message that is returned is not displayed to the user. I assume that I am doing something wrong in my API Request code. Can anyone review this custom action with google sheets for me?

I’m trying to update a column at a time with google sheets. Ideally I’d like to do multiple columns, but we’re starting with just one. I’ve got everything set up according to the google API documents and when I test the API, it works. But when I transfer the zap over live, it runs into an error saying that the formatting is wrong and it expected another value. I’ve tried this with multiple inputs (a column of 5-6 values) and just one value, but I get the same error each time.
