dynamic dropdown fields takes more time to load data form trigger API

Added a trigger which gets list items through API call. Added a field in Action of my app where i selected the field as dynamic drop down. When we create a zap it takes more time to load data in dynamic dropdown field. Is it an issue in zapier ? Kindly help

404 upon successful authentication

Hello,My team is building a Zapier integration where users connect an account via an API key. After going through the “Add Connection” flow I get a 404 screen in Zapier’s UI.From the network console it seems to be a failing GET request to the following path: https://zapier.com/_next/data/app-management-3064226381e35ed03bc1802ce3770ac91d194f7e/app/connections/null.json?hl=[someNumericalId]&serviceSlug=nullIt appears that despite the 404 screen, the credentials are added successfully.When checking the API key auth it doesn’t appear to have some requested return data, so I am not sure how to resolve this 404 screen, as it is a poor user experience.It only appears to occur when adding it through the “My Apps” tab. Adding a connection via setting up a trigger or action doesn’t result in this behavior.The integration app is currently Private as it is under development. Does this matter?Thanks.-Justin

using NodeJS Big Query library in Zapier

I am using NodeJs big query library in Zapier cli. When I try to provide the path for big query service account key, I get the following error - ENOENT: no such file or directory, open '/var/task/creates/key.json'const options = { keyFilename: 'creates/key.json', projectId: 'test', };const bigqueryClient = new BigQuery(options);I tried to provide the json key directly in the keyFilename. Is there some other way to do this?Can I do this by setting environment variables?

Trigger creates duplicate entry

I have a website where users can login and create tickets. When they create tickets it has to go to their respective trello account as card. For Example: User A has a trello account. So when user A is logged in and create a ticket, a card should be created in his Trello account.User B has a trello account. Amazon Seller Central will not allow me to connect Zapier with Kajabi outside of the North America region

I am based in the UK and it appears Amazon Seller Central will not allow me to connect Zapier with Kajabi outside of the North America region. I filled in the form to let Amazon's Marketplace Services team know that you would like to use Zapier with regions outside of North America but they stated:“I understand that you would like to use your third party application: Zapier outside NA.Please note that the mentioned developer must be registered with Amazon in that specific marketplace to provide services to sellers in the marketplace. Authenticated User and Trello Board

I have a website where users can loggin and create tickets. When they create tickets it has to go to their respective trello account as card. User A can have trello account A. So when user A is logged in and create a ticket, A card should create in Trello account A. Like wise User B and account B. So far I have created a zap trigger using rest hook and an action. It is working fine. But for the separate accounts as mentioned above I still didn't get the idea.  Any help appreciated 👍

CLI Testing and Environment Variables

Hey folks,I am a noob at Node.js, so sorry if I am missing some obvious points. I converted my application from UI to CLI by using zapier convert command  without issues. However, I couldn’t manage to run tests.I am getting “Only absolute URLs are supported” message after zapier test command. The message info goes on with the endpoint of my API: “{{process.env.API_URL}}/calculations/...”.What should I do to resolve this issue? My UI version works flawlessly at the end. So, I don’t want to make changes like replacing variables with static values.I have understood that I can get the variables from the .env file, but my .env doesn’t include a variable API_URL. It has only ACCESS_TOKEN and REFRESH_TOKEN. Also, I can’t access them if I wrapped them between curly brackets like the one above ({{process.env.API_URL}}).Thanks in advance.

Hi,I am developing an integration for Zapier, going really well so far.I’d love to have a link somewhere on my app to kickstart a new zap for my users, e.g. link to`zapier.com/zaps/new?app=Swype&event=newAnswer&formId=123abc` and they wouldn’t have to do as much. Does this exist in one form or another? Breaking up line ltems into multiple batches

Hi,I have built two custom integrations (apps) using the Zapier CLI to integrate our Payroll system with our HRIS. For context we have 150 employees and this could grow to 200 in the next 6 months.The Payroll integration has a trigger that returns a line item with for each employee with the employee’s leave balance. The line items are passed to an action provided by the HRIS integration which updates the leave balance for each employee.The problem is that the API for our HRIS is rate limited to 60 requests per minute. This rate limit cannot be increased (I’ve asked already) and there is no bulk update method available to update leave balances in a single request. Given the execution time limit for an action is 30 seconds and we are limited to 1 request per second the theoretical maximum number employee leave balances we can update is 30.As we have 150 employees we cannot even hope to update everyone’s leave balance in a single action and it is not cost effective to loop through each em

Push Zapier from monorepo

Hi, I am developing a Zapier integration with our API. I am building this in NodeJS using the Zapier Platform CLI.I started the project with typescript using `zapier init {name}`.Then I installed our projects types, which are present in our monorepo. We use this monorepo design, so we have a central types library which will always be up-to-date when developing. Supporting Zapier Transfer with REST Hook triggers from Zapier UI

Hey.In our currently private integration, we want to support Transfers for REST hook triggers. Is it possible to do it in the Zapier UI?Up until now we had no pagination support. When throttled requests are re-attempted, where does the re-attempt start from?

I am building a private integration that performs some complex API operations in a single Zapier Action.Due to the complexity (number of outbound API calls it has to perform), it is possible that during the Action, the private API will exceed its throttle limits and return an error to Zapier, initiating a ThrottledError.The Zapier docs tell us that:If a response receives a status code of 429 and is not caught, Zapier will re-attempt the operation after a delay.In this case, what is an “operation”? It would be great if that was the exact API call, deep inside the Action, that prompted the error, but I don’t see how Zapier would know how to get back to that exact point in the code to repeat it. So, does this mean that Zapier will restart the same Action from the beginning, with its original parameters? Or does the whole Zap repeat?Whichever way it does this, how do other people handle this to perhaps detect where the Action was up to, and avoid repeating any API calls that had already be

Control number of retries with z.errors.ThrottledError

I read about the example below, but I am worried about infinite retries if somehow the server keeps returning 429s. Is there a default limit on the number of retry? Sharing "choices" between two different inputField dropdowns

I am developing an integration to a database-like application.One action is to create a new record with a dictionary of data.The input form for the New Record Action starts with a question about which Record Type is going to be saved. Based on this value, subsequent form dropdowns ask which field on that Record Type the user wants to set. Another form item (List, with choices) allows the user to select which fields to return from the operation.Each of these form fields does an API call to ask what fields are available on the selected Record Type, in order to present the list to the user. This is quite inefficient as it basically has to repeat the exact same request multiple times as you set it up.When the Zap is running, it again does the API request to get the field names, I guess because Zapier is looking at the inputFields structure to query on key, type, etc., and the “choices” list is requested and triggers the API call.What I would like to be able to do is to query the API for th

Get Access Token using authorization code from Redirect URL

Hello everyone!I’m currently working on private app integration for ecommerce platform. I manage to generate the Authorization URL that will be use by user to authorize their seller shop.As far as I understand, after the user authorized their seller shop, the redirect URL will redirect them to a our website and the URL will contain “Authorization Code”.My question is how do the Zapier app integration can get the “Authorization code” from the redirect URL?will the “Authorization code” automatically sent to my app integration “Access Token Request” section code right after the user finish authorized their seller shop?or I have to write code in Authorization URL section to send the “Authorization code” to Access Token Request section?Any help is welcome!Thank you.
