Something like UiPath Task Capture but for Zapier?

Hey all, this is a half feature request half seeing if it's something others are frustrated with. I come from the RPA world over to Zapier, having extensively used UiPath. My favorite feature by far was this thing called Task Capture, which let me screen record myself doing a task, and then it would turn that recording into a skeleton automation using AI. This was super helpful in terms of getting started on workflows. I'm getting started with Zapier these past couple weeks, and I've been wondering if there was something similar for creating Zaps. Like, I can record my screen pulling data from Google Sheets & then sending it over Slack, then it turns that into the Slack Send Message + Read Data From Google Sheets and it would be a Zap. Is there a hidden feature like this? It'd be game changing for my team. If not, can folks lmk if this is even something thought about or maybe I'm just thinking about Zaps in the wrong way.

How can I create a test account

To set up a test account for Zapier on my app, the process involves an OTP being sent to integration-testing@zapier.com . Zapier Build from monorepo

Hi, I am getting the same error as mentioned in this post. I have tried the suggested solution in the above post however, I get below error > zapier build --skip-npm-install --debug › Warning: Could not find typescript. Please ensure that typescript is a devDependency. Falling back to compiled source.✔ Running _zapier-build script✖ Copying project to temp directory › Error: EMFILE: too many open files, scandir ' '/Users/user/development/node_modules/@serverless/utils/node_modules/cli-width' How would I go into solving this issue without publishing our package to NPM? Publishing the package to NPM is not a solution, as it does not fit within our working structure.

Zap integration between protonmain and pcloud

Hi, I am looking to integrate my protonmail account with pcloud. My use case is I have mail folders on my protonmail account and I simply would like to move/copy any new mail arriving in that folder to a folder in my pcloud account. Is this possible? The header for this should be “Zap integration between protonmai l and pcloud”. I’m not able to change the heading. Regards,

Can we get a normal search bar on the home page?

Zapier added that AI automation builder (screenshot). I admit, it’s a good idea and I like it. But can’t we get a normal search bar on the home page? Most of the time I access my account, it’s to check or update a zap anyway. And I keep clicking in the automation thing by accident. Even better would be AI powered search, but I don’t want to overshoot lol

Zapier trying to authenticate multiple times

Hello Zapier Community, I am establishing a Session Auth connection through my Zapier Action. However, even if the connection is successful, Zapier keeps sending requests to my authentication and test endpoints multiple times. I saw that a user here in the community had a similar problem https://community.zapier.com/general-discussion-13/session-auth-issue-requesting-session-token-twice-after-it-works-first-time-3342?tid=3342&fid=13, however my problem is a little different, because it seems like there is a trigger sending the authentication request multiple times. To be more objective, what happens is:My Action sends the fields to authenticate to my authentication endpoint and my endpoint returns the session token successfully;The Action triggers the test command with the session token and returns success.At this point it should stop trying to authenticate, however it starts re-authenticating again and it does so successfully and repeats this step at least 4 times. I would be grateful

Automating Translation Requests and Workflows

I have seen posts on different social media accounts that people are automating their business by using workflows by Zapier. This has made me curious over the last few weeks whether it can relate to my customers as well. The issue is customers are diversified, not only by region but also by their languages. New Zap missing after zapier push

Hi there, I am a newbe to Zapier. I successfully created the sample cli app as described here: https://docs.zapier.com/platform/build-cli/overview After learning a bit, I tried creating a new app and publish. The new app does not show. I tried deleting the old app, creating another one, deleting etc. but I it is simply not there (at one point I did have an app, but it said it was private when I tapped on the Zap, so it wasn’t functioning). The apps are all private (I think the first one was as well). For the second and on tries, it failed to push and requested a registration (so I did run “zapier register”.What is going on?I ran into an article regarding logging in with user name and password and then via sso (Google), but I have been using sso login all the way. Thanks!

Why Is My JavaScript FormData Object Empty?

I’m trying to send a file to an API via JavaScript within the Platform UI (not CLI). I’m trying to avoid the Platform CLI for some specific reasons, but understand that may be the only solution. The problem I can’t figure out is how after I append 2 key/value pairs to the myFormData object, it ends up empty when sent via z.request(). I want the myFormData object to have my 2 keys and their values, plus set the content-type header to multipart/form-data with the appropriate boundary. Note, the JavaScript File object returns a not found error. Unable to pipe javascript code output into custom api request

Really simple question, is Tables backed up? I just came in to find my 10y/o fiddling and wondered is there a way to roll back to a previous days data? What is included in the free plan

I want to know how many automation do you get with a free plan and what a Zap is? Is Zap an automation, so for example I want integrate Smartsheet to Airtable, is that one auotmation and another from Airtable to Smartsheet? Unable to clone: platform version 15.16.1 doesn't support definition override

Hi folks, I submitted this to support, but thought it would be good to ask the community as well. I am trying to clone an app to create a new version, but getting this error message when I try to clone: Platform version "15.16.1" does not support a definition_override. Please try a more recent version Has anyone else run into this? How would one, hypothetically, update their app’s platform version, especially if you can’t clone it to make an update? Need help with Zapier automation: merging data from multiple google sheets

I want to create an automation with Zapier AI, and I want to do this in a single process. I have five different Google Sheets, and I have a query table in Zapier that includes the variables from these datasets I prepared earlier. What I want to do is: Transfer data from these five Google Sheets to my query Zapier table. When a new data row is added to these datasets, I want my Zapier table to be updated; therefore, I want the datasets to be checked daily at 8 AM. Since there are people with the same names in these five different datasets, I want the relevant people's data to be on the same row in my Zapier table. When I use the "Get Many Rows" operation, it reduces all the data in one column to a single row, so the data cannot be separated correctly, and I cannot create new spreadsheet rows with the "Every Day Schedule by Zapier." How can I solve this in a Zap process?

How to act as the user in oauth 2.0

Hello! I want to allow users of my platform to connect their Zapier accounts in order for my platform to execute their zaps on their behalf. Basically, scenario is as follows: User gets on the platform and clicks “Connect your Zapier account” Oauth 2.0 magic happens and we get the token, that can be used to act on behalf of this user We are able to list zaps of this user on our platform and execute them using this token (e.g. from AI assistant that this user has created on our platform) I’ve gone to https://zapier.com/developer-platform and set the oauth2.0 up, and I’m able to get the token which kinda works, however, I cannot access any APIs (e.g. GET https://api.zapier.com/v2/apps) as I get { "errors": [ { "status": "401", "code": "unauthenticated", "title": "User Not Authenticated", "detail": "User must be authenticated to access this resource.
