Question

How does Square recognize the connection from my WooCommerce Zap?

When creating a zap between a woocommerce order and sending a Square Invoice, I need to log into Square obviously so it can send the invoice.  My question is if the backend of this zap (api calls or something) lets Square know it’s on my website or if it shows the connection as coming from zapier?

Hi @peptidesolutions

Help links for using Square in Zaps: https://zapier.com/apps/square/integrations#help

If you are using Square as Zap action steps, then that means those Zap steps are using the Square API endpoints.

The Square Zap triggers also use the Square API, because those are scheduled and use polling from Square API endpoints.

NOTE: When you see Zap triggers that are instant, that means those use webhooks, sent from the origin app to fire the Zap to run.
