Help shape a new Zapier integration for syncing bank transactions - feedback wanted

Hi everyone!

I’m the founder of a popular financial data syncing app, and we’re currently building a new Zapier integration that will let users automate workflows based on changes to their bank transactions.

We’re planning to support triggers like:

  • When a new transaction appears

  • When a transaction is updated (e.g., a pending charge is finalized)

  • When a transaction is removed or reversed

Our goal is to make it easier to automate financial tasks, whether that’s logging expenses, tracking cash flow, flagging specific charges, or syncing to tools like Google Sheets or Notion.

Right now, we’re looking for folks who are willing to share their workflows and feedback on what kinds of triggers, filters, or actions would be most useful. We’ll use that input to shape the integration, and you’ll get early access to use it for free.

If you’ve been wanting something like this, or have ideas for what would make it truly useful in your setup, feel free to comment or DM me. I’d love to hear from you!

Thanks in advance 🙌

Hi @AlecKriebel,

Welcome to the Community.

Thank you for sharing your promising project with the Zapier community—it has great potential to simplify financial management through automation. To gather valuable feedback, consider engaging users to share workflows, hosting webinars or AMA sessions, creating surveys, offering incentives like early access, and iterating based on input. Sharing success stories and staying active in the community will help build engagement and improve your integration—best of luck, and thanks for contributing.
