Dynamic field missing in the Zap form

Hello there,I’m trying to add a dynamic field to my zap along with normal fields, and it’s just never displayed. Every other field is present (both in the action preview and while creating a zap), but not the dynamic one. Adding a Deal in HubSpot from a Proposal in Podio

Hi!I’m trying to set up an integration between HubSpot Sales Hub and Podio. We are video production company and need Podio for our project management.We create all of our proposals in Podio and when a proposal is sent to a lead, I want an automation to create a deal with the corresponding lead in HubSpot. I’ve tried to set this up with Zapier but if I choose “Item updated in Podio” as my trigger, I can’t seem to be able to select what specifically needs to be updated in Podio in order to trigger the workflow.This image shows the various fields that we update at different stages of the proposal process. When we select Sent + Pending, I want a Deal created automatically in HubSpot. Does anyone know how to select this as the item updated in Podio when creating the workflow in Zapier?I’m wondering if I should create a Google Sheets doc for all Sent Proposals, so that I can create a workflow from Podio to Sheets and then Sheets to HubSpot instead? Perhaps that will work?Thanks so much!Paige

Throw custom error when performSubscribe api fails

While turning on zap, is it possible to throw custom error in zapier frontend and block the ‘on’ option. I am trying to throw custom error message to user (while turning the zap on) based on the error code from webhook response. When I use throw new z.errors.Error(‘error message’), it throws unhandled error. URL streaming with webhook?

How exactly does Zapier get “notified” via a defined zap web hook when an app has new data? I don’t understand how the “new record” notification works since I only have a URL to that application to query data or whatever.Possible use-case:Say I want to be notified when there is a new record in MySQL. Then I want to take that record and copy it to DropBox or log some information in a spreadsheet.How does Zapier “know” there was a new record created via the web hook?

HubSpot contacts not updated from WIX Automations

Hi, Our contacts in HubSpot are being created - but NOT UPDATING when a person submits the form again using the same address but say with a different first name or so.. even though the HubSpot side of the Zap say’s it will “Create and updated based on email address”.Any help REALLY appreciated. Thanks,Paul

Hi all, I have a google sheet with many dates (7 or 8). I would like to send all these dates to my google calendar. I know how to do this one-off, but is there a way in ONE zap to send ALL of them to my google calendar? I tried searching high and low before posting. Any help is appreciated, thanks!

How to create Google Tasks based on results of Google Form?

Hi, everyone.  Tapping into your universal wisdom.Has anyone created a zap that generates a task based on the responses to a survey in google forms?  For example, if you are asking potential clients if they are interested in different products:product Ainterested not interested not sure wrong personproduct Binterested not interested not sure wrong personetc.If they answer ‘interested’ to any product, I would like to generate a task for a colleague (through Google calendar).  If the answer was ‘not sure’ to any product, this would generate a task for a different colleague. Create Quickbooks invoice based on certain value in Lawmatics custom field using Filter?

This post was split from the topic: How to export emailed report from Gmail into Google SheetsI am trying to triger an QB invoice base on True False custom filed from another app (Lawmatics).. The problem is that when I look at changed to a mater as a Triger I get all the custom field and their values as two separate arrays. Is there any way to match each filed to its Value so I can filter based on one.I hope this makes sense

I am getting “The app did not respond in-time.” whenever I test my action on zapier.com. I have tested my api endpoint in postman and it responds immediately. Zapier Not Finding Asana Task In Project

Hi Community!I’m having a strange issue where Zapier can’t find certain asana tasks within projects.  I have a zap that does a few different things, but within it I find a specific project in Asana.  That works well.  When I search that project for a specific task, it gives me an error message.  Strangely enough, I’ve tested it with other tasks within that project and some will be found.Has anyone run into bugs or issues like this with finding tasks within asana projects?Thanks!

How to format multiple value fields and perform math? (ActiveCampaign-->Google Sheets)

I’m trying to have ActiveCampaign update Deals or create new rows for new Deals into a Google Sheet. Everything is working great except for some reason, ActiveCampaign spits out dollar amounts in CENTS and not whole dollars which is just...frustrating. I have multiple columns in my Google Sheets that need to be dollar values formatted as currency. I can get my zap to divide by 100 to get the proper dollar value and format it correctly, the thing I’m having trouble with is how to format 3 different columns this way without having to do a math step and a formatting step each time. Is this possible? Here is some sample data with the two columns highlighted that are coming over as cents instead of dollars. What’s the most efficient way to achieve conversion to whole dollars?

Bug? Match All option not working for Extract Pattern Step.

 I’m trying to set up a Zap that notifies our team members in Slack when they’ve been @mentioned in Intercom. I’ve got it working for single @ mentions left in a note, but can’t get it working if someone @ mentions multiple people in the same note.The more I look into it, the more it seems like something is broken in Zapier. While testing, I can see that Zapier uses re.findall() when you select the Match All property for Extract Pattern steps, so I flipped this on to account for multiple arguments.When I test this regex search in VSCode, the code works as expected. But in Zapier, it only returns the first value as if Zapier is still using re.search() instead of re.findall() behind the scenes. Am I missing something here or is this a bug? If so, how do I get this looked at? I can’t figure out how to reach the support team.​​​​​​

Automate google sheets data with paths

Hello, So I have built many zaps before using the path function in another account. I'll explain what I was trying to automate in the past and what i'm stuck on now.Before, I needed customers who filled out a form and typed in their zip code that went through sheets to go to a specific campaign and account in High Level depending on their zip. Last time I did this I had about 6 cities and each city had about 20-50 zip codes. This took forever to setup each zip code under the path function when pulling them from google sheets and it was kind of buggy at times because it had to check every zip code when every lead came through and then send us an error message if it didn’t recognize a zip that was typed in. All in all it worked.My situation now is exactly the same use case, but I have an account that we're wanting to check 2,000 zip codes in one of the cities to see if the lead is in that zip code. Is there a better alternative to achieve this without the grueling process of adding each

I’m trying to get my Salesforce Reports to run and create new records in ClickUp. It seems like the ClickUp side is fine, but I’ve only been able to get Salesforce to the report, not the report’s data. Does anyone know how to get down to the data?

ConnectWise error when selecting filters

I can setup a good connection using Zapier and ConnectWise using public/private keys.  I test it and it works. But when I choose the “method” to get a notification if a ticket changes, then Zapier lists several filters I can apply.  All of those return an error when I click to populate them from ConnectWise. I cannot progress any further with setting up the ZAP at this point. I’m guessing there are some additional privileges needed in ConnectWise?  If so, does anyone know what they are?  I’m not a ConnectWise admin and don’t have those privileges but I can work with our admin to get changes. FYI, I’ve already checked the ConnectWise documentation and found no information indicating what privileges might be involved.  Nor do I see it mentioned on this site. Thanks in advance!

Hi,I'm having an issue when I try to update the status of a task inside a board using Zapier (Jira Cloud Software).I've created the zap initializing with the trigger, New Response in Spreadsheet in Google Forms, which creates a new task into a jira's board and then create the a new task into a new board referencing the previous created task.And this last task that i ask Zapier to create I wanted it to have the status updated to a new column, so I created 2 new steps, 1 to search the task by the issue key, and other to update the status, and when I tried to test, I get this following error: there's no field where I can inform the relator, it's already informed at the step where I've created the task as you can see in the image below: Please, can you help me?
