Trying to connect my Alpaca paper trading account to Zapier but I cant please help!!!

Hi I am trying to connect my Alpaca paper trading account to Zapier but I cant seem to do it. When I try to it defaults to my live account even though Ive connected both please help!!!

Just came across this and saw there’s an existing feature request to allow Paper accounts to be used, so I’ve gone ahead and added your vote for that functionality to be added. While I can’t guarantee if or when this will be added by Alpaca’s developers, we’ll be sure to notify you via email once they do!

In the meantime, were you able to do any testing with the live account to confirm it works as expected?

Allowing Zapier access to my alpaca accounts

Trying to change to paper trading account

As you can see above I am allowing Zapier access to my alpaca accounts but I can’t seem to change to the paper trading. I have tried going incognito but did not work the co pilot thinks its trading in paper but its not cause every time I try  to buy it says insufficient funds yet the paper account has 100k Thanks for help in advance.

Hey ​@Azza82,

I don’t think you can connect testing account to Alpaca through Zapier but only live accounts as it’s a limitation on the Alpaca Zapier integration. Hope it helps!

Try reaching out to Alpaca Support for help with their Zap app integration which they created and manage on the Zapier Developer Platform.

Thanks Troy I have done that they said its a problem on your guys end which kinda makes sense cause you can see it detects both accounts.

Most Zap app integrations are created and managed by the app developer using the Zapier Developer Platform.

I do not work for Zapier, but I am a Zapier Solution Partner.
