Has anybody else encountered this issue?

I’m setting up a Scheduled Transfer from a Google Sheet to an Airtable Base. I’m able to connect to both apps, no problem. When it comes time to map the data, Zapier won’t allow me to find or select the last 5 columns in the Google Sheet (columns BJ though BM, if that makes a difference). It’s like Zapier doesn’t think they exist. How do I move forward?

Hi @Lee N.

Good question.

Do those columns have data populated in the cells?

They do. The column I’m trying to link to in the screenshot has a unique number for every row in the Google Sheet.

Might be something that provides guidance to fix the issue.

The frustrating thing is that I already have a Zap that connects to the Google Sheet in question, and I didn’t have any trouble linking any of the columns when I set that up. It saw them all. Still does. Transfers just… won’t.

@Lee N.

If you are only trying to do a 1-time data transfer from GSheets to Airtable, then try using the Airtable CSV Import Extension: https://support.airtable.com/docs/csv-import-extension

I appreciate the helpfulness of these answers, but I’m here because the native Airtable CSV Import didn’t do what I needed it to (notably, recurring updates). It seems like there’s a difference between what Zapier says it can do with Transfers (move move all of the data in a spreadsheet to a matching table in Airtable) and what it actually can do (move all of the data up to column BI and no farther). This seems like a design decision, but rather a bug in the software. Is there somewhere I can submit a ticket about this to the development team?

Hi @Lee N.

If you have a Zapier paid plan, you can submit tickets to Zapier Support here: https://zapier.com/app/get-help
