Question

MailerLite error: The app returned "Sender email must be authenticated before you can send from this address."

I am Triggering the zap when some user makes a comment on my Wordpress post.

I do want to execute a action in which that comment will get send to a campaign from mailerlite.

I thought the best way will be to draft a campaign first and in next step i will send that campaaign.

But while drafting the campaign - I have added a static email in Action ‘Email from address’  and got the following error :

-----------------------------------------

Failed to create a campaign in MailerLite (1.6.3)

The app returned "Sender email must be authenticated before you can send from this address. (and 1 more error)".

Hi @jaspreet

To give us more context, post screenshots with how your Zap steps are outlined and configured in EDIT mode so we can see the field types and field descriptions.

@Troy Tessalone    Sure , I check the article to authenticate email and then proceed for the zap.

@jaspreet

Post screenshots from MailerLite showing the sending email is authenticated.

@Troy Tessalone  Many thanks for the solution , the error has gone.

Though i am not able to send the campaign yet as its saying to upgrade the plan :

----------------------------------
Failed to create a campaign in MailerLite
The app returned "Content submission is only available on advanced plan.".
--------------------------------

I checked and the available plans are ‘Starter’ and ‘Professional’   , please confirm will the ‘Starter’ work in our case.

Thanks

@jaspreet

The error is from MailerLite: Content submission is only available on advanced plan.

Means the MailerLite plan would need to be upgraded: https://www.mailerlite.com/pricing#compare

You may want to reach out to MailerLite Support for guidance.

Sure will do, Thanks again for help

Thanks Troy for your reply please check the screenshots

@jaspreet

You may want to use a different approach.

Try using this Zap action: MailerLite - Create/Update Subscriber

There you can specify a Subscriber Group.

In MailerLite, you would then configure an Automation to send an email when a Subscriber joins a Group.

https://www.mailerlite.com/help/how-to-create-an-automation-workflow

FYI...

Check the field description for guidance. (more)

Make sure to remove any line breaks in the input field.

@Troy Tessalone

THANKS for your reply ,

But i would like to convey that i am not going to  create OR update any subscriber in the Mailerlite.

I have to send a Email to existing subscribers list (Group) , whenever a comment is made on wordpress website. I can create a campaign in mailerlite and send that as well.

The (Email from address) will be same as its on mailerlite’s Account but that is giving a issue.

@jaspreet

If there are 100 comments made in 1 day on a post, then you want to send out 100 emails to the MailerLite group?

@Troy Tessalone  Yes actually that is the Requirement, but usually there will not be 100 and probably 5-10 comments as the section is only available for paid users.
Also will execute the same campaign instead of sending email.

@Troy Tessalone   There are no line breaks in the email , can you please elaborate what is the error in this email?  its the same email used for the mailerlite account

@jaspreet

Help article from MailerLite about verifying and authenticating your domain.

https://www.mailerlite.com/help/how-to-verify-and-authenticate-your-domain

Post updated screenshots with the line break removed form the input field value. (there should only be 1 row in the text box)

Please check the video for all fields

@Troy Tessalone  i think i have to send the email from the comment section like the other fields ‘name, comment text’ then it may work ?

@jaspreet

In MailerLite, you need to authenticate the sender email that you are trying to use in the Zap.
