Google sheet update row not working

I am using the new or updated google sheet row trigger and it is not working.

I have seen guidance that the cell being updated should be set to a value that it was not set to before, but this also does not work. It only seem to work for new rows.

I’ve spent some hours trying everything to get this working, but no luck. I looked through the forum and see that it might be a bug that has been known for some months. Is there an update on this or any other known reason why this should not be working?

The trigger is NOT instant for GSheets and depending on your Zapier plan it can take up to 15 minutes for the Zap to trigger.

I think the issue might be that I have not used the Team Drive instance of this trigger. The non-Team Drive trigger works fine for new rows (instantly) but definitely not of updates.

It seems like I’m having more success with the other Team Drive trigger though, which is not instant, but that is not a problem in our implementation.

Thanks for the not instant tip as that has pointed me in the right direction I hope.
