Can I use sub-zaps to create a single flow for file and folder upload to Google Drive?

Before i go down a few hour rabbit hole - does any have experience creating sub zaps - specifically for  a trigger event for a file & a folder upload to google drive?

I have nice flow when i upload a file ( 18 steps ) and would like the same thing completed when uploading a folder to google drive without creating a separate flow.

 

does sub-zap solve my issue here?
