I recently had a working Zap that sent a gmail email every time someone signed up on our Adalo app. I created a new Adalo account and I wanted the same zap to work. I changed the zap to the new Adalo account (just by changing the email associated from the old to the new Adalo account).
The test works fine but then the zap is turned off and a email is sent saying “Your Zap could not be turned on” because the app returned “Forbidden”. Can someone help with this?

Hi @Elliott B

Good question.

Check your Adalo Zap app connection here: https://zapier.com/app/connections

Thanks for responding Troy. Yeah the test says successful here too!

Adalo help article: https://help.adalo.com/integrations/zapier

Please make sure that you are using the Zapier account of the owner (admin) of the Adalo application.
This is a security feature and Zapier <> Adalo would authenticate this connection, failing which your Zap would not work.

I am and it’s still doing it.

@Elliott B

If you have a Zapier paid plan, you can try opening a ticket with Zapier Support: https://zapier.com/app/get-helpYou can try ope

Ok thanks!

Hi @Elliott B,

That's great to hear! I'm really happy that Troy was able to guide you in the right direction.

Our Support team is excellent at handling these types of issues. They can examine the Zap and its logs more closely to help resolve the problem.

By the way, I noticed that you're already in contact with our Support team. That's fantastic! They will be able to assist you further.

Thanks! 😊
