New zap created, now I want to trigger all my history from the beginning

Hey Guys, 

I am new to Zapier. I have just created a new zap coming from to Shopify and going to excel file.
The sample is working just fine, but now I’d like to trigger it for all my previous orders in shopify. Is there a way to do this ?

Hi there @mushimushi02,

 

As @AndrewJDavison_Luhhu explained this is not possible, but there is always another possibility ;)

If you would still like to “back-automate” your orders, you could make a zap with the following:

  • Manually export your orders from shopify
  • Import them into a google sheet
  • Create a zap that:
    • Retrieves your needed data from sheets
    • Runs any other app on them

      Hi @mushimushi02

      Sadly, it’s not possible to use Zapier to trigger on your historical orders. It will only trigger for new orders placed after the zap is switched on.
