Can I add a tag to an ActiveCampaign contact based on a specific answer of a question in a typeform?

So let's say I ask the question in a typeform:

How old are you?

  • Answer A: 18-30 years
  • Answer B: 31-50 years
  • Answer C: 51-70 years

The typeform response that has answer A, I want to add to them a tag called ‘Young’ when creating the ActiveCampaign contact. Is that possible?

Hi @Oscar123, welcome to the Community!

Yes, that would definitely be possible! 🙂

You can use a Formatter (Utilities > Lookup Table) action to create a lookup table that has a list of the possible answers and the corresponding ActiveCampaign tags. Then when the Zap runs it will take whatever answer it receives for the “How old are you?” question and output the relevant tag which you can then select in the ActiveCampaign action. If you’ve not used lookup tables in Zaps before I’d recommend giving our Create lookup tables in Zaps guide a read through to learn more about how to set that up.

Please do let us know, if you run into any issues on that, always happy to help further!

Thanks, I will look into it!
