When I go to create a new Zap, my intention is to automate when someone posts something on the their LinkedIn it also posts on a #channel on Slack. The only option for the LinkedIn side is when a new job is posted...are there other options? I need to automate when someone posts something on the their LinkedIn it also posts on a #channel on Slack. Can someone explain this to me?

Welcome to the Community! 🎉

Unfortunately, the current LinkedIn integration in Zapier does not support triggering on new posts. However, we have an existing feature request for this exact functionality.

I have added you to the feature request. That does a few things:

  • Bring this to the attention of the integration developers
  • Help track interest in this feature being implemented
  • Allows us to notify you via email if this feature becomes available in the future

While I don't have an ETA on when this feature might be implemented, we will notify you via email if it is!
