Issues connecting to LinkedIn "Unable to pull my_profiles"


Setting up the Account step works fine.

When I click test, I get the following error. Any ideas?

Are you using the “My Profiles” trigger for LinkedIn? If so, I'm sorry, but the trigger you're trying to use has been deprecated, and is no longer available.

Are you trying to trigger on new posts on your profile? If so, we do have a feature request open asking for the ability to trigger upon new posts, and I have added your details to it now. When there's a resolution, we'll reach out automatically.

Hi @SecOpsWarrior Try removing the step and add it again, the reconnect might help!

Hey ​@ken.a is there an update on this ? would love to have an ability to trigger on new posts (on profiles and business pages!)

So I’ve added your vote for it which will help to increase it’s priority. While I can’t make any promises about when or if it will be added, we’ll be sure to send you an email notification if it is!

At the moment, there aren’t any reported workarounds, but we’ll follow up here to share details of any we come across in the meantime. Thanks so much for your patience and understanding! 🧡

Hi ​@SamB and ​@ken.a! Can we please add another vote for this? Have been waiting for a while for company linkedin posts to trigger slack messages. For context, it’s a great way for us to promote a company post internally so employees can get notified on slack that a post has been published and can then go engage with it and share it for the purpose of employee advocacy. I think it would be really beneficial to lots of organisations. Thank you!

Of course, ​@TomBridgesCaptionhub! 🤗 Totally agree that it would be a great feature to have! We still can’t provide any sort of ETA on when you might expect a “New Post” trigger to be available but we’ll definitely drop you an email as soon as it is. 

In terms of a workaround, are you able to get email notifications from LinkedIn when there’s a new company post?

If you do, then perhaps you could set up an automatic email forwarding rule in your email account to forward those email notifications to an app like Email Parser. Email Parser could extract post’s information from the email (see: Trigger Zaps from new parsed emails) and the Zap could then share it on Slack. 

If that sounds like a viable option and you run into any trouble setting that up just let us know, we’d be happy to assist! 🙂
