Hi guys,

 

First of all, thanks for your help. I am trying to create a zap that automates a Gravity Forms Sign-up, creates or appends an existing contact in CapsuleCRM and subsequently adds a task to that contact to send them an email in 2 weeks. Almost everything is set up, although I am having trouble in the last part. I want to add a task in CapsuleCRM using Zapier and attach this task to the contact that was just created. There is an option in the Zap (see screenshot below)

, although it does not attach it to the contact I specified. I used the Contact ID right here, but also tested firstname lastname or email address. None of it is working. Any ideas?

Are you getting an error when testing that step with how it’s mapped?

Have you tested if it’s a different field that might be causing the issue?

May be helpful to post screenshots with how your Zap steps are configured vs just the 2 fields.

Issue might be with how this field is configured,

Try using a real date and see if that works.

If it does, then you may need to use a Formatter > Date/Time > Add/Subtract Time step and possible format the Date correctly.

Brilliant @Troy Tessalone ! Oddly it did came through with the two weeks later, but noone assigned to it. I used the formatter now and it’s working fine! Thanks so much :)

Better to use specific naming conventions if trying to use shorthand.

e.g. +14d for +14 days instead of two weeks later

There’s still a minor problem in my zap actually. There are no errors whilst testing all steps, but when I turn it on it automatically disables itself again.

 

Do you know what might cause this? Thanks a lot!!
