Zendesk Sell - New Contact trigger - Is Organization filter not working

We have a Zap that is using the Zendesk Sell - New Contact trigger.

In the trigger, there is a Filter for “Is Organisation”.

When that is set to false, the Zap is still running for a Contact that is marked with Is Organisation = True.

Any idea how we can fix that?

Are you testing manually or when the Zap is turned ON?

Try turning the Zap ON and testing, then check your Zap Runs for the DATA IN/OUT for each step: https://zapier.com/app/history/

Otherwise, please post screenshots with how your Zap trigger step and Filter step are configured, thanks.

Just wanted to update this thread for anyone following along! It looks like you reached out to our Support team about this and they were able to locate the issue. I am going to paste their solution here for anyone with a similar issue:

In your third step in your Zap, nothing has been filled in. To fix this, you need to fill that section with what company you want to search for or create.. or delete it

From there, it sounds like your other issue is that the trigger "New contact in Zendesk sell" is sending over not only contacts/people but also..organizations. Back in your example here, that third step did not exist so the Zap went through.


Your Zap should now be respecting the organization option switched to "false". :slight_smile:
