Zapier is sending the dynamic variable placeholder instead of the actual value

We’re experiencing a strange issue where Zapier is sending the dynamic variable placeholder {{_GEN_1749478982094__output}} instead of the actual value (e.g. "Start Up").

We are receiving a Webhook from our website and we want to send this to GA4 as a Measurement Event.

Hi there, @Lightly Salted 👋

I just came across this and saw that you also reached out to the Support team about this. I can see that they’ve added you to a bug report for the Send Measurement Events for an Application action, where values from mapped fields are not being correctly passed to Google Analytics. Which is why you’re seeing those placeholders instead of the values that the fields contain.

Really sorry about this. As Support mentioned, we can’t give any ETA on when this will be resolved by but we’ll be sure to send you an email notification as soon as it’s sorted. And I’ll be sure to follow up here with any updates or workarounds I come across. Please do let us know if there’s anything else we can help with in the meantime.

Hi @Lightly Salted

For us to have more info, post screenshots about how your Zap steps are configured and an example of what you are referring to with the actual data processed by the Zap step for DATA IN/OUT.
