I am trying to activate the following Zap using a free license:

So it is an integration between Microsoft Excel and Connecteam, which are both not Premium apps. According to my understanding, it should be possible to activate this Zap in the free tier.

Each time I activate it, it gets deactivated automatically and I receive an email without explanation:

Hey @JBSol30 👋

Just came across this and saw that you connected with our Support team who spotted what was preventing the Zap from activating. Sharing their fix here for anyone else who might run into the same thing:

I have been looking at this Zap, and I see this is happening because the worksheet selected on the Trigger no longer exists.

To resolve this, you want to select the Worksheet as shown below.

Once this is done, please test the trigger, and you should be able to publish the Zap.

Hi @JBSol30

Help links for why you can’t turn the Zap ON: https://help.zapier.com/hc/en-us/articles/8496199466125-Can-t-turn-on-or-publish-Zap

@Troy Tessalone That’s exactly what I checked and according to my understanding it should be possible to activate it. The Zap meets all the conditions:

  • No premium apps
  • No premium features
  • No incomplete steps
  • No multi-step zap
  • No publish approvals enabled

@JBSol30

Check your Zap app connections here: https://zapier.com/app/connections

You can try process of elimination to determine if Excel or Connecteam is causing the issue by replacing those steps in duplicate Zap with native Zap apps.

If the issue is with Connecteam, then try reaching out to Connecteam Support for help with their Zap app integrations.
