Updating an Item in Notion seems to ignore the 'content' field

I have a zap that is updating a Notion item. All of the fields update correctly, except the bottom ‘content’ field does not have the Markdown option and it puts a link like plain text.

Is it possible to add it manually in the content bottom?

Thank you!

Hey all, just stopping by to share that Markdown is now supported! 🎉🎉🎉

In case you missed the email notification that went out here’s what you need to know:

we're now handling markdown throughout our actions consistently! Currently Notion doesn't support table or image syntax, but beyond that we have full support. We've also removed the arbitrary 2000 character limit in this field for some actions.

Thanks so much for your patience with this. If you run into any issues using Markdown in your Notion Zaps, feel free to start a new topic or reach out to our Support team directly for some help.

In the meantime, happy Zapping! ⚡

Hi there @ZapAle,

Welcome to the Community! 🎉

I did some digging into this, and it seems like the “Update Database Item” action doesn’t support markdowns. However, we have an existing feature request for this exact functionality.

I have added you as another interested member to the feature request. That does a few things:

  • Bring this to the attention of the integration developers
  • Help track interest in this feature being implemented
  • Allows us to notify you via email if this feature becomes available in the future

While I don't have an ETA on when this feature might be implemented, we will notify you via email if it is!

Hopefully, this helps.
