Hello,

I took a quick look at the Facebook lead community thread on permissions before posting this: page access, lead access, etc. And it appears I have none of those problems.

My simple two-step automation is able to see my page, my form, because I'm running several ads with three or four different forms. Five minutes ago I decided actually just to try to run one form and see if that works, but it was set to default any form. And the test ran smoothly. I am seeing new records populate. And then on Google Sheets I have mapped my fields and I also have a successful first lead created in my Facebook sheet.

So it's technically running correctly on all fronts except the fact that when I left it running yesterday it had one lead from the test and today  it still had one lead, but meta leads reports over 200 new leads that do not reflect on sheets. I am at a loss. and it’s really annoying because I can’t get the simple stuff to work.

Can anyone make any of this?  because the error is not an obvious one (to me)

Hi @will900,

Welcome to the Community.

If your Zap isn’t capturing all Facebook leads and sending them to Google Sheets, there are several troubleshooting steps to try. Start by checking your Zap history for errors or skipped tasks. Remember that Facebook Lead Ads uses polling, so leads coming between polling intervals may be missed—upgrading your plan could help. Ensure your trigger is set to capture all forms and check for rate limits or connection issues. Reauthorizing your Facebook account or testing with different forms may also help. If the problem persists, you can query Facebook’s API directly or contact Zapier support for further assistance.

Let me know if you need further assistance.

Hey there, @will900 👋

Just came across this and saw you reached out to our Support team they were able to help get it sorted. I’ll share their suggestion here in case it’s helpful anyone coming across the same issue in the future:

Facebook Lead Ad permissions can be more complex than anticipated and are the usual culprit to this situation. Could I ask you to check the following article out:

If you could compare your own permissions within Facebook against what's displayed in this article and ensure they're set to be the same, that'd be appreciated.

If your permissions are set the same way, but the Zap still won't trigger, could you please take screenshots similar to the ones in the article, but of your own permissions within FBLA, and send them through to me. Could you also give the FBLA testing tool a whirl, and let me know the results: https://help.zapier.com/hc/en-us/articles/8496061345805.

Usually, what you're experiencing, comes down to the CRM permission not being set correctly - and the above testing tool will help to prove that (if that's the case).

I’ll go ahead and mark this as the best answer as their suggestion appears to have done the trick. Feel free to reach back out if we can help with anything else. In the meantime, happy Zapping! 😁⚡️
