Sending WhatsApp reminders before a webinar

Hello, 

I would like to send my customers who participate in my webinar a reminder 24 hours and 12 hours before the webinar.

They sign up by subscribing to a list and receive a tag (FunnelCockpit).

I was able to find out how to send a Whatsapp notification, but not how to set the date for it. 

The test I just set up doesn't work, instead of at 3pm, I got the message immediately. Can anyone help me?

Hi ​@Derhundegefaehrte,

I can confirm that it’s not possible to send WhatsApp messages to others when using the WhatsApp Notifications app. The app that you’re going to need is the WhatsApp Messenger app which is not yet supported in Zapier.

Nevertheless, I've added your vote to our internal app wishlist, and we'll be sure to let you know if/when this app is added to Zapier.

The help article indicates you can only send YOURSELF WhatsApp Notifications, so you will not be able to use it to send CUSTOMERS WhatsApp Notifications.

 

You can use WhatsApp Notifications in your Zaps to send yourself WhatsApp messages to your WhatsApp account.

You can use Zapier <> WhatsBox integration to send out WhatsApp messages to the webinar participants. https://zapier.com/apps/whatsbox/integrations

Please note that this won’t work with a WhatsApp personal number, and you would have to sign-up for a WhatsApp Business Account.
