Passion.io error: The app returned “Validation failed: E-Mail is invalid.

I am trying to create a simple automation between Kartra and Passio.io.

When a customer buys a (digital) product in Kartra, automaticaly an order is created in Passion.io (an app with contents) and an email with a temporary password and instructions is sent to the customer. 

But I get an error stating: Failed to create an order in Passion.io (The app returned “Validation failed: E-Mail is invalid.”)

I use the same email to sign in into Kartra, Passion.io and Zapier. All connections are green check-marked.

The only problem is the last step: a test to created an order in Passion.io

I don’t know how to solve this issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Help us have more context about the error by post screenshots with how the Zap step ‘Action’ tab section is configured in EDIT mode.

For the email Address field you have a dynamic variable mapped that is the Lead First Name from Kartra, which won’t have a valid email address.

You need to map a different variable.

 

I changed it to a different variable and it worked.
