I am getting the following error when trying to set up a Zap to add new connections from LinkedIn to my CRM:

Unable to pull connections

Please reload the page. If the issue persists, troubleshoot error or contact Support.

Error code: Error while retrieving: Error parsing response. We got: "<!DOCTYPE html> <!--[if lt IE 7]> <html lang="en" class="ie ie6 lte9 lte8 lte7"> <![endif]--> <!--[i"

show less

Any ideas? Here is a screenshot as well:

Hi @CaptainTime

Good question.

One thing to try is to remove and reconnect the LinkedIn app in a new/different private browser here: https://zapier.com/app/connections

Thanks for the suggestion, but this didn’t resolve the issue

@CaptainTime

If you have a Zapier paid plan, you can try opening a ticket with Zapier Support: https://zapier.com/app/get-help

Sad that there is no support available for those of us using the free plan.

Hi there @CaptainTime,

It looks like you are using the “New Connection” trigger in LinkedIn. I’m afraid that the New Connection isn’t currently supported as it was deprecated and removed due to LinkedIn policy: https://zapier.com/zapbook/updates/439/linkedin-triggers-and-actions-being-removed/

In the meantime, we have an open feature request for the “New Connection” trigger to be supported again. I have added you as another interested member to the feature request. That does a few things:

  • Bring this to the attention of the integration developers
  • Help track interest in this feature being implemented
  • Allows us to notify you via email if this feature becomes available in the future

While I don't have an ETA on when this feature might be implemented, we will notify you via email if it is!

Hopefully, this helps! 😊
