We’re building a Zapier app which requires Jira task updates to contain the latest comment field in the payload on a Jira Software Cloud > Updated Issue Action.
I can see this issue has previously been raised, but without any resolution:

While I’m sorry to say we don’t have any updates to share at the moment, I did add your email to the list of impacted users. This is the best way to stay in the loop once a fix is in place. We’ll also be sure to post an update in the thread you linked. 👇🏽

FYI: Most apps on Zapier are built and maintained by the app developers themselves.
Probably best to open a ticket with Zapier Support for your feedback to be logged: https://zapier.com/app/get-help
