Google sheet error: Trigger partner failure

We use Zapier with google sheet, but recently we’ve got those error message

 

Could you please explain what this error means, and how can we solve this?

So the error message is about Google sheets trigger,

‘Trigger partner failure: This usually happens when the Zap does not receive a response from Google Sheets within 30 seconds confirming we could access the spreadsheet data successfully’

 

Would you please help that how can I fix this issue?

Thanks for sharing that helpful screenshot of the error here, @Yong!

That type of error can occur when there’s an outage or temporary issue on the partner app’s side that’s preventing the Zap from accessing the app. Usually these type of issues are short-lived and the app will be able to trigger on any missed items the next time the Zap is able to successfully connect to the app, in this case Google Sheets.

But if it’s continually not able to trigger then it could be that there’s been a change made to the connected spreadsheet (like renaming it for example) that has caused a disconnect between the Zap and the spreadsheet. We have a guide on the types of changes that can cause issues: The Google Sheets trigger on my Zap stopped working

If that’s the case, you’ll want to turn the Zap off, reselect the spreadsheet and turn it back on again to refresh the connection between the spreadsheet and the Zap.
