Google Analytics 4 error: Google may be having issues with their API
Hoping for some help! We set recently set up Zap between DonorBox and Google analytics (new to Zapier). Trigger: New or Updated Donation in DonorBox Action: Create Conversion Event For a Property in Google Analytics for.
Setup was correct, with no errors alerts along the way.
We tested the Zap by making a donation… however this resulted in an error. The ‘Data Out’ is correct… but it says there was an issue with Google Analytics (??).. see screenshots. It says: “Google Analytics 4 step hit an error” and “Oops! Something went wrong. Google may be having issues with their API - please try again later”.
Does anyone have any ideas about how this could be resolved?

We would need to see screenshots with how the Zap steps are outlined and configured to have full context, along with the DATA IN/OUT for the Zap Run with the error.

Hi Troy.. Unfortunately I tried and I was informed that I needed to upgrade in order to get support - is there no other way? Also, from what you see.. is there anything issue with how we’ve set up our Zap? Thankyou.
Ahh.. ok.. so it seems like this is a known/unresolved issue :( Thankyou for this info and your help… I guess I need to find another solution!

Can you add me as well? I’m having the same trouble (same error) trying to connect scheduled jobs and completed jobs from Housecall Pro to GA4.
