Hello,

I’m currently trying to upload a file attachment parsed with the email parser into one of my Folders. 

I did a previous step where I searched for this folder and it gives me a positive answer with the good folder. So looks like I have no problem using APIs with my box account.

I try to upload the file attachment and it gives me the answer :

Failed to create an upload file in Box

The app returned "Bad Request".

I tried again with something else than my attachment, I tried with a simple text, but it still doesn’t work. 

Could someone help me please ?

Please post screenshots with how each Zap step is configured along with the encountered error, thanks.

I looked up a bit and it seems that the email Parser is not really compatible with extracting attachment files. 

If you have an idea to solve my problem I would be really thankful.

Try this Zap action: Gmail - New Attachment

In step 4, this needs to be the Folder ID/Path, instead of the Folder Name from Step 3.

Indeed replacing it with the ID will work and send a file to Box. 

But the underlying problem is still there, I cannot upload the mail attachment. 

This answer is nevertheless solving an important problem, thank you very much !
