DocuSign error: Could not create signature request, INVALID_REQUEST_PARAMETER

Could not create signature request: INVALID_REQUEST_PARAMETER: The request contained at least one invalid parameter. RoleName must be specified for templateRoles.

 

Trying to request a signature each time a customer buys a course.

Hmm, so it looks like there aren’t any mapped values in these fields:

Are you able to click into those fields and select the desired values from the previous step in your zap? Interesting neither of them are listed as required fields but the error message leads me to believe it may be. Are you able to give that a shot and let us know how it goes? 🙂

Thank you both! I simply had to enter values in the “Recipientemail” and “Recipientrole” fields. Problem resolved!
