Connecting Zapier to Zoho Creator

I’m trying to create a connection between Zapier and Zoho Creator.

I’ve added a new application, Zoho Creator. Then it asks for the owner name.

Zoho states: In the Owner name field, enter your Zoho account's Owner Name. You can find the Owner's Name from the URL, <https://creatorapp.zoho.eu/<ownername>/<applicationname>/...>

So here is what our domain should be:

https://creator.zoho.eu/--Details removed by moderator--/--Details removed by moderator--/>

Then I use the smart authenticator - QR code to authorise Zoho in the OneAuth app on my phone

So it apparently works and sets up a connection which I can see in my list of Zapier apps, but then immediately I get a red x next to the app in Zapier. When I test the connection, I get a pop-up message “Zoho Creator expired. Bad Request’. 

I have no idea how to fix it. I don’t know if it’s the owner name, the authorisation, or simply a connection issue in Zapier.  Any help would be appreciated. Zoho were literally no help at all. They couldn’t even tell me if I was using the correct owner name.

Looks like you reached out to our Support team about this as well, and the issue turned out to be with what was entered in the Owner Name field. It seems there were some slashes (/) included in the Owner Name field, instead of just the owner name itself—e.g. it needed to be owner_name, not /owner_name/

Since that seems to have resolved things, I’ll go ahead and mark this as answered. But feel free to reach back out if we can help with anything else. In the meantime, happy Zapping! ⚡

You can add app connections to Zapier here: https://zapier.com/app/assets/connections

Make sure you selected the correct domain.
