Hi all, I am receiving this error message about my ChatGPT account. It is a shared account in Zapier:

When I enter the API code, I see this message:

 

authentiation failed: [502] Bad gateway

 

Any tips to troubleshoot?

Hi there @elizabethfreewill,

​This type of 500 error can happen if the app is having some issues on their end.

Since this happens on the other app's end we can't see exactly what might be the specific problem here, but the good news is that these issues are usually short-lived.

Also, thank you for sharing the status page of OpenAI. It looks like the there was an ongoing incident on their end causing some issues with API and a possible authentication issue that has now been resolved:
