Hi,

I’ve tried to login to AWeber to create a Zap but I keep getting the following error message:

Oh, foo.

Zapier could not connect to your account.

ExternalHTTPSConnectionPool(host='auth.aweber.com', port=443): Read timed out. (read timeout=39)

When I retry, I get this message:

SERVER ERROR 401

UnauthorizedError: OAuth key invalid.

I keep getting emails from AWeber that I’ve connected Zapier Connect to my AWeber account. I’ve tried to connect on different browsers and connecting in different ways in my Zapier account. Nothing seems to work.

Hi @JBuck

Good question.

If you have a Zapier paid plan, you can open a ticket with Zapier Support: https://zapier.com/app/get-help

I am so tired of this crap BS - of course it’s all internal Zapier defects that the wanna be lap dance Tesla hopeful dudes will never acknowledge nor fix, good luck with Zapier

Hi folks! 👋

Thanks for sharing your candid feedback here @bubba198. Am I correcting in thinking that you’re running into the same issue as @JBuck

Asking as I did some digging and found there’s an open bug report for these “UnauthorizedError: OAuth key invalid.” errors. @JBuck I’ve gone ahead and added you to the bug report. I can’t make any promises as to when it will be resolved by, but adding you does help to increase it’s priority and allows us to notify you by email the minute it’s resolved.

@bubba198 - if you can confirm that you’re running into the same error I’ll be happy to get you added to the bug report as well. Looking forward to hearing from you! 🙂

@SamB Actually believe it or not in my case the issue was; for once logically related to the error: the API end point was in fact taking long time to return a response so in summary, no my issue was different in this instance. Of course we had to “curate” the endpoint so that Zapier “likes it better” since the timeout is internally and statically defined inside Zapier and not adjustable but oh well - I’ve used Zapier long enough to accept the things I can not change :)

Thanks for the update @bubba198! Glad to hear you were able to get around the timeout issue.

There are instances where the timeout period for an app has been increased - for example the ChatGPT app will wait up to 15 minutes for a response so it may well be possible for the timeout period to be increased for other apps as well. 🙂

I’d suggest reaching out to our Support team to put in a feature request for the timeout duration to be increased. You can do that here: https://zapier.com/app/get-help

Hope that helps!
