Hello!  I am trying to connect my ClickUp to Convertkit so that when a user submits a form on ClickUp, that user is added to Convertkit (user’s name, email address, etc added to ConvertKit). When doing this, I’m trying to choose the custom ClickUp field “Email” for my Convertkit email, but it’s not showing up; only the basic ClickUp fields (priority, take name, etc.) are showing up. Can anyone help me??  I have no idea what I’m missing here!

Hey @Laura21 ,

Have you submitted a test form on Clickup? If no, then please do.  Than in trigger event click get new test records and that will show you the latest test data.

@jayeshkumarbhatia  I just submitted a test form in Clickup, I had not done that previously. When you say “In trigger event click get new test”, I don’t see “trigger event” anywhere.

I’m currently setting this up so that a task added to the clickup form triggers a subscriber being added to a ConvertKit form, since that’s the only action that seems to add a brand new subscriber to convertkit. But should I be doing something else?

I attached a screenshot of what I see, and can’t find “trigger event”. Thanks in advance for your help!  I really appreciate it.

Hey @Laura21 ,

You can read here how to get test data.

@jayeshkumarbhatia  I did a trigger test, and it failed. I still don’t see the option to link the email in Zap.

Hi there @Laura21,

Could you please let me know what ClickUp trigger you’re using? Additionally, could you please reconnect your ClickUp account here: https://zapier.com/app/connections and after that please go back to the ClickUp trigger and test the trigger again.

I'll be keeping an eye out for your response!

Hi @Laura21, I just came across this and spotted you also reached out to our Support team who were able to help get this resolved. 😁

The solution was to set the custom fields to required (in ClickUp) so that they would be filled out and that got the fields coming through in a new test record. That said, the name of the fields and values they contain came through in separate fields and so the wrong fields were selected. I’ll share the details from the Support team’s latest suggestion which helped to get the correct fields selected in case it’s helpful to others in the Community running into similar issues:

Can you try these values instead?
