The first mail I received keeps coming every 14 minutes.

Does Zapier have the ability to send emails repeatedly?

If you have such an option, please let me know where I can turn it off.

Hi @samlab

Can you please provide more context about your issue?

What apps are you using?

Is there a Zap involved?

If you still need assistance, you can open a ticket with Zapier Support here: https://zapier.com/app/get-help

@samlab

On the Starter plan, your zaps will check every 15mins whether they need to trigger again.

If you have a zap setup that sends an email, there is a chance it’s triggering every 15 mins and sending the email.

If that’s not what should be happening, you’ll need to troubleshoot your zap.

Hey @samlab, hope you’re well, I just wanted to check in here!

Were you able to resolve the trouble or did the info from Andrew help?

For zaps sending emails repeatedly, are we referring to a zap triggering on an email it sent when using a New Email trigger and a Send Email action?

If so, it is possible for zaps to trigger themselves and other zaps, this is called a Zap Loop: https://zapier.com/help/troubleshoot/behavior/zap-is-stuck-in-a-loop

In most cases, we’ll want to avoid building a zap loop unless we’ve carefully tested that the loop stops at some point. If the zap loops forever, that can quickly run through your task limit duplicating the same data over and over again.

If you’re seeing a zap loop, you’ll want to check the article above and review the ways we can avoid a zap loop. The most common way is to include some data that we can filter on in the action that is causing the loop. We can then use a filter step to check for that data.

For more info on filters, check out this article here: https://zapier.com/help/create/customize/add-conditions-to-zaps-with-filters#how-get-started-filters-zapier
