SMTP Time Out

Hello, 

I am trying to use the app Smtp by Zapier to be able to send emails through the companies email in a zap.

We use nominalia webmail. The smtp config:

smtp-es.securemail.pro 

SSL/TLS

Port 465

 

When trying to do the connection we receive a message “authentication failed:Connection unexpectedly closed: timed out. 

Even if it takes a while trying to connect, zapier suggests that the time out time is to low on our side but our email provider says it is nothing they can solve. 

Looking for help in this issue.

If the timeout is too low on the email server side and your email provider can’t change that then there’s not a lot that you can do in terms of using the Zapier SMTP integration. 

 

Perhaps there’s another way to trigger from your emails? Is there anywhere else that you get notifications of emails that might work?
