Yes, Zapier is a Software as a Service (SaaS) platform.

Zapier operates entirely in the cloud - you don't need to install any software on your servers or manage any infrastructure. You simply:

  • Sign up for an account at zapier.com
  • Create your automations (called "Zaps") through the web interface.
  • Zapier handles all the processing, hosting, and maintenance.

Webhooks by Zapier specifically allows you to:

  • Receive webhooks - Get a unique webhook URL that other services can send data to
  • Send webhooks - Make HTTP requests to other services' APIs

All of this runs on Zapier's cloud infrastructure, making it a true SaaS solution.
