If the sender of an email is in a contact group, apply a Gmail label to match the contact group

I have various contact groups set up in my Google Contacts. I also have Gmail labels set up for each contact group. What I’d like to do is set up a Zap that will look to see if a sender is a member of a contact group, and then apply the corresponding gmail label if they are.

I think I can see how I could do this with a separate Zap for each contact group/gmail label. I’d love to be able to get it done with one Zap, but I’m not sure if it’s possible.

Hey there, @seannymurrs! Great question!

Depending on how many groups you have and your Zapier plan, you could probably do this with Paths by Zapier!

Otherwise, you’re right - I imagine doing a zap per contact group may be your best bet! 😊

Keep us posted on how you decide to approach this! We’d love to know.
