I have a trigger that fires when a QuickBooks customer is created or updated. I have noticed that the trigger fires the zap when I create an invoice for the customer. Creating an invoice is not an action l’d like as a trigger and it is causing unnecessary Zaps to fire.

Could you kindly confirm what trigger event you selected for the Zap?

If the trigger is “Updated Customer” in Quickbooks, then that will trigger on every customer that gets updated. Including creating an invoice for a customer.

Could you send a screenshot of how you set up the trigger step? (If there’s any personal information, kindly blur them.)
