How to call a Sub-Zap from another Sub-Zap in Zapier?

I believe this is more a “Feature Request”:

 

It would be massively beneficial if I could call a Sub-Zap from within another Sub-Zap.

Is there any way to do this currently? Are there any plans within the Zapier Feature Roadmap to make this possible 🙏

Hi folks 👋

Just wanted to hop in here to close the loop - I looked into the Support ticket that was opened and saw that no feature request was needed. As it was already possible to call a different sub-Zap from within a Sub-Zap. 🎉

If anyone coming across this runs into any issues calling a Sub-Zap within another Sub-Zap, please start a new topic in the Community or reach out to our Support team and we’ll be happy to assist.

Hey ​@Troy Tessalone , thanks for the advice, I have posted my request here - https://zapier.com/app/get-help

 

The use cases we have is that we have a number of “utility sub-zaps”, such as Slack Posting Email Sending, URL parsing etc. each with some degree of dynamic content and logic. We also have a number of “functional sub-zaps” mainly required so that we don’t repeat the same tasks/code in multiple places. It would be ideal if we could call our “utility sub-zaps” from our “functional sub-zaps”

 

This ability would significantly reduce the amount of duplicated tasks/code that we currently have, thus improving the maintainability and supportability of our Zapier workflows.
