How do I copy Slack messages to Close CRM as call notes for the current lead?

I want to set Zapier so that when I write a message in Slack, this text is copied to the note in "Close CRM" for the lead I am currently calling. Unfortunately, Zapier asks me to specify an exact lead ID, but I don't want just any specific lead, but exactly the one I'm calling or have called.

@Troy Tessalone Thanks for your time and for responding that fast. I will send the Lead ID to Slack then, writing into the chat manually and process the information with Python. See you next time.

@Baum

The Lead field expects a Lead ID as indicated by the field description.

You would either to provide that from Slack or lookup that value in another step.

This is to be seen once I type to select a lead ID.

I’m looking for a dynamic Lead ID.

Hi @Baum

Zap step input fields can accept dynamic values, but those values must be valid and formatted correctly.

Sounds like you would still need to supply the Lead ID.

For us to have more context, post screenshots with how your Zap steps are outlined and configured in EDIT mode.
