How do I automatically create a print order on my website when a customer buys a product on Etsy?

Hi, I am completely new to the world of Zapier and I would be happy to get your help!

I have the following problem and I am not sure if Zapier is the right tool for it. I need to connect two websites. #1 is a website called etsy.com (like ebay) and the website #2 is a print shop where the orders coming from etsy should be produced and shipped. This process should be automated completely.

So,

  1. I would like to sell a print product via the website etsy.com. If someone buys a print product, ...
  2. … the orders coming from etsy (there is an API available, but I have zero knowledge about APIs) should be instantly and automatically used to start an order via the website of the print shop. The print shop then produces the product and sends it to the customer who ordered via etsy.com

If Zapier might not be the right tool, which tool(s) might do the job?

Any help is highly appreciated!

Hi @HelloWorld

Good question.

Etsy does not have a Zap app integration.

If you get an email notification, then you may be able to do email parsing to trigger the Zap.

App APIs can be used with the Webhooks app: https://zapier.com/apps/webhook/help

Perhaps consider hiring a Certified Zapier Expert to help with your project: https://zapier.com/experts/automation-ace
