Hi, we are as many using Zapier for refining our InMoment (formerly Wootric) NPS and CES data. But due to GDPR requirements we have now switched from using Inmoment in US to their EU server. All that is good.

Zapier is still situated in US, however, so letting them access and refine all the data there breaks the first requirement again - notably accessing the e-mail of the user.

So is there any way that we can decide and restrict the InMoment data that will be accessible for Zapier to process?

As a rule, we don’t make specific data agreements with individual customers. If you’d like to talk with our security team to see what might be possible, the best thing to do is to contact our Support Team using the Get Help form. If you explain your issue (you can include a link to this post) and let the team know which of our security and privacy policies you’ve already read, they will be able to help you faster.

Hi @Wiking!

Looking at the InMoment Zapier integration, I’m pretty confident that Zapier would need to request access to user data (including the email), and it’s not possible to restrict certain pieces of data, sorry about that.

If you haven’t found them already, the best place to learn more about our Security and Privacy policies (including how we comply with GDPR rules) are on the Security and Privacy pages.

Yes, that figures. So a specific data exchange agreement between us and you in Zapier would have to be signed in order to deal with this processing, if InMoment from that side is not able to impose the restriction of fields accessible?
