Hi everybody!

I'm trying to create a zap that activates when an event is created on Google calendar and copies this event to Airtable. Even though the test zap is working, when I actually create an event in Google calendar, it's not creating the same event on Airtable.

Does anybody know why this could be happening?

Really looking forward to hearing your ideas!

Best,

Katrina.

Hi @Katrina ,

Make sure the Calendar you are connected to in Zapier is the same calendar you are connected to when you are "live testing".

If you're like me, you have multiple calendars for different life functions (personal, business, shared cal with significant other, etc.).

Just doublecheck that first and get back to us.

Cheers!

Hi @Bryan_from_workload,

Thank you for the suggestion! I checked the calendars and they are the same.

Any other ideas on why this could be happening?

Thanks,

Katrina.

Hi @Bryan_from_workload,

I found the problem, which may seem obvious for some, but could be useful to hear if anybody else has problems - for an event to be able to show up on Airtable's calendar, it is necessary to input the event's start and end time in the 'customize records' for Airtable in Zapier.

Hope this is helpful for anybody having the same issues!

Best,

Katrina.

Great job! I wasn't even aware of that but it makes sense now that you mentioned it.
