So I used to go directly into my gmail and forward messages to Slack. Obviously, now I want to automate that. However, when I automate, I get jumbled up text. When I directly forward from gmail, it sends the Slack message in a really nice format. Is there a way Zapier can do that?

If you’d like the ‘readable’ version of the email, select the ‘Body Plain’ field from the list of data that you get from the email trigger.
I send emails to Slack and I also like to include the Message Url field so I can easily go to the email if I want to reply to it 🙂
