Hi,

I have several zaps that can update a user’s WordPress / OptimizeMember info (name, password, etc) as per my question at

Is it possible to have a step that just finds the user info?

Something like find_user instead of create_user under “op”?

Thanks,

Jon

Hi folks,

I have good news - a Find User search action has been added in the latest version of the WordPress app! 🎉

This action is keyword based, allowing you to search for a user using their id, username, email and more! It also has the ability to create a new user if one isn’t found:

We hope you’re able to give this new action a try soon. If you run into any issues with it please do get in touch to let us know.

In the meantime, happy Zapping! ⚡

Hi Jon! It doesn’t appear as if that is a current option for WordPress. I know that may not be what you wanted to hear, but there is some hope! We currently have a feature request log for “Find User” to be added as an option and I’ve added your email so you’ll be one of the first to know once implemented!
