Ecwid order trigger on Wix website, Send Email action

Hi All,

I’m new here and looking for a time saving solution!

I currently have a Wix website with an Ecwid store integrated, selling event tickets.

When a customer books their place on an event, I would like them to receive an event specific email detailing the address and any other info needed. I have a catalogue of 15 different events so would need to set 15 different automated emails (1 per event).

Currently I have to email each customer individually (copying and pasting the emails each time) which is very time consuming.

Is this something Zapier could do?

Thanks!

Hi @jharris82

Check out the available triggers/actions/searches for each app.

Ecwid: https://zapier.com/apps/ecwid/integrations#triggers-and-actions

Wix Automations: https://zapier.com/apps/wix-automations/integrations#triggers-and-actions

What email app would you be using to send the email?

Check out all the available public Zap apps here: https://zapier.com/apps

Thanks for the reply!

My business currently uses IONOS for our email accounts so Im guessing I’d need to somehow connect IONOS to ensure the emails had the appropriate sender address?

@jharris82

You may be able to use SMTP by Zapier to connect to IONOS: https://zapier.com/apps/smtp/help

Or perhaps leverage the IONOS API: https://devops.ionos.com/api/

App APIs can be leveraged with Webhook steps in the Zap: https://zapier.com/apps/webhook/integrations#triggers-and-actions

Hi @jharris82, hope you’re well! Checking in to see if you needed further help here.

IONOS seem to have this page detailing more about how to set up SMTP: https://ionos.com/help/email/general-topics/settings-for-your-email-programs-imap-pop3/ - That should work in conjunction with the link Troy provided: https://zapier.com/apps/smtp/help

You may also need to implement branching logic to create the conditional logic required. This can be done either via multiple Zaps with filters or using Paths. Below are resources for each one:

Multiple Zaps with filters: https://zapier.com/help/create/customize/add-branching-logic-to-zaps-with-filters

Paths: https://zapier.com/help/create/customize/add-branching-logic-to-zaps-with-paths

I hope that helps. Please don’t hesitate to reply back if you need help :-)
