Deleting rows from Excel spreadsheet

I am looking for a way to use Zapier to delete a row from a Microsoft Excel sheet. I do not see an action that allows me to do this with Excel. I have seen the Google sheets options but this is NOT what I am looking for. Only excel. For now, I am just updating rows with a unique value that I will skim a sheet through to delete those rows in the future. Thanks!

Hey all, just following up here to share that a Delete Spreadsheet Row by ID action has now been added to the Microsoft Excel app integration! 🎉

Thanks for your patience on this one. To use this new action, you'll need to make sure your Zap is using the latest version of the Microsoft Excel app. Our How to update to the latest app version guide explains how to do that.

If you run into any trouble setting it up, please start a new topic here, or reach out to our Support team directly. 🙂

Hi @MindfulTG

Good question.

As you’ve derived, there is no Zap action available for Excel Delete Row.

Hey there, @MindfulTG
As Troy mentioned, at the moment this isn’t an available action in the Excel app.

It is an open feature request though! I went ahead and added your vote to it. While we can’t make any guarantees on when or if this will get implemented we’ll definitely send an email if it does. We’ll be sure to keep this thread updated as well! 😄
