I need to avoid sending lead duplicates to Pipedrive. I’ve tried using filters and conditions but it didn’t work. I’ve even tried the Pipedrive's native solution such as “find or create a deal/organization/person”.
If people send their data twice or more, I must not send  the redundant ones  to Pipedrive. I need  to  send  just the first one.

Can anyone help me?

To troubleshoot further, best would be to check the Zap Runs history details for the DATA IN/OUT for each step to determine why the existing record is not being found: https://zapier.com/app/history/

Perhaps when the phone number is being added to Pipedrive the format is getting converted by Pipedrive.

It’s in Portuguese, so phone number in this case is “Telefone”.

 

Phone number is more important in our business model. I already tried search by email and didn't work too.


@Luis Santana - The setup looks right but I would avoid searching on phone number due to possible small changes in formatting (with or without country code, with or without spaces, without or without a dash, the options are endless)

As ​​​@Troy Tessalone, it’s best to search for a unique data point; email address is normally speaking a safer way!

Pipedeive Find/Create Org/Person/Deal is the right action to use.

Make sure you are matching using  a unique data point, such as email address for the Person.

Can you provide screenshots of how your Zap steps are configured?
